My vision is for everyone to toss their scale at home in the trash.

But really…What works for one doesn’t work for all, or maybe even two. You are you, the only you. Your life circumstances are different from any other human on this planet. My vision is to help people take time to get to know themselves, to help them find tools and habits to build their pathway to their ideal health and wellness.

I grew up riding my bike to soccer practice, swimming at the neighborhood pool, and ate pretty well thanks to my amazing mom who worked full time. I never remember not liking vegetables. Well, except brussell sprouts and asparagus as a kid. The smell of them boiling on the stove, gross. Now I love them roasted and seasoned just right:) I played sports in high school, skied a lot in college, and got into triathlons, running, and biking as a young adult.  

I married a handsome young man named Mark in 2005.  I went through the miraculous phases of growing and birthing four babies (one of those beauties has gone through a lot of medical issues including stage 4 cancer). Over the past 15 years I’ve become more and more interested in how we often know what we should be doing or eating, but don’t do it. Why?  That curiosity, and my own life experiences including having thyroid issues and losing a parent to addiction, led me to becoming a certified integrative nutrition health coach.

A willingness to embrace new ideas, experiences, and perspectives. To be honest in what you are struggling with, what you’re good at, and what you want. When you are working to find the strong and confident you inside, this is not a time to be shy.

Determination

A desire to pursue your goals despite obstacles or setbacks, because they will happen.

Gratitude

Comparison is the theif of joy, and gratitude is money in your soul bank. Gratitude can make life rich by seeing what we can do, what we do have. And it’s free 🙂
